Sunday the 23rd of April saw the dawning of the Bonnie breakfast club. The weather was fine and the roads were dry. Despite having a little alarm malfunction at 6 am on my friends Bonne, we pitched up to Basepoint at 8am sharp as planned.
The sunny car park was graced by the Bonnefication Scrambler of Tim Schofield and Legacy 85 had their custom T100 stood to attention. We pulled in astride an SR400, Bonne SE an I had brung my old man's 69 T120v.
As the morning mist rows from our coffee cups more sleep deprived throttle worshippers arrived. With a fair but modest turn out of around 10 of us and 6 of them riding on to 3 Cross we were all systems go.
After a couple of palm warming beverages and a comfort stop or two the congregation was called to mass. The 69 Bonne roared into life and we set off on our merry way. All be it a tad brisk at times, the low morning sun presented Dorset to us in its full golden glory. Blue bells and yellow fields lined our route two 3 Cross and the Triumph Open event.
Thanks to all for taking part, I look forward to my next adventure with the Bonnie breakfast club.
